I feel like I blinked and most of 2025 just... happened. And when I say it "happened" what I really mean is I blinked and we went from spring to nearly autumn already. It also hit me like a truck.

Hey there, welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm Lumi Bunny, a bunny girl Vtuber who has probably managed to collect too many hobbies. ✨I love bringing Vtuber models to life, though I admit I am probably more obsessed with rigging and animating in Live2D than I am with using my own Vtuber model.I sometimes feel as though I have collected too many hobbies, though many of them are pretty creative. I am often found drawing in some way or another. I like drawing digitally in Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI. I also like to paint using watercolours and gouache, it's so relaxing working with a brush.I occasionally stream on Twitch or post videos on YouTube.

I plan to share a little bit of everything here in my blog:

It's been a busy 2025, with more plot twists than I have been willing to handle. However, the strange upside in that is it leaves me with plenty of stories to share. I Think I've Had Enough of 2025 Now.

I feel like I blinked and most of 2025 just... happened. And when I say it "happened" what I really mean is I blinked and we went from spring to nearly autumn already. It also hit me like a truck.

2025 has been really intense so far

I thought 2024 was a lot, but 2025 sure has kicked me in the ass. It feels like some ofthe toughest challenges in my life have had a meeting and all decided this was the year to have a little face to face with me.

Jokes aside, not all challenges need to be seen as bad though. And I have to admit, while I was really upset with having to face so many struggles all at once, I am also quite thankful for it all.

2024 gave me the opportunity to find my wings,
but 2025 is allowing me to find my voice.

Finding my creativity again:

It comes as absolutely no surprise that mental health and creativity come hand in hand, but I did not expect to lose any creative drive and inspiration gone as soon as I had burned out. I also did not expect to find it again, in completely new ways.I have explored painting with watercolour and gouache in a way that inspires me to try new styles and bring to life the things that bring the most joy to me.

It's been so hard to decide on what creative project(s) to work on next. I've been struggling so much with brain fog this year. Now that I have been able to focus a bit more it feels as though I need to rush to enjoy everything all at once. I know it isn't a race, but it sometimes feels like one as I recover more and more each day.It's like I've been holding on to too many creative ideas and I want to make them all happen and come to life! 🥲I think that maybe my urge to start all of my ideas and projects at once was because I hit a major milestone in another and it's become the creator's equivalent to the sad empty feeling after finishing a really good book and wanting more.

Some projects I've been working on:

I'll admit that I don't upload as many images or videos of things I am working on lately. I get a little shy and intimidate myself out if it, or I simply forget to... 🫣But I do have so many fun things I have been working on and I really can't wait to share!

I've been slowly working on Bun Bun, my little bunny friend. She will be replacing the pet raccoon on my head. Don't let her adorable little face fool you, I'm planning on making sure she is much more trouble than she appears to be!Like, she is super cute.
But she is also a little bit of a shit disturber.I'm still playing around with recolour ideas, but I am starting to get a better mental image of how I want her to look. I'm leaning on mostly white for now, maybe a very, very light lilac. I loved having her blue to match my own Vtuber model, but she was blending in with my hair a little too much.

I have also been working on some Vtuber stream schedule templates! This one in particular was really really fun to work on, so bright and colourful.I wanted to capture the back-to-school vibes with a small blend of my love for stationary.I think that with September rolling in and schools being back in session for the new academic year, I see the kids running off with their backpacks and felt a certain amount of nostalgia for that "fresh start" feeling.

Redecorating the Apartment:

This year has been so busy with so many changes and new routines, a big one being that my roommate had moved out and I finally had the space and peace to myself again! I was so excited to be able to spend my summer moving furniture, redecorating and creating a space that truly feels like my own.

The first thing I did (after having to wash the newly emptied room like 3 times) was begin moving my desk, PC, drawing table and all of my art supplies to the front room. I was so excited to be able to work next to the big window again, make my space in the room with the most natural lighting.

My next mission was to decorate and customize things, furniture, door frames, anything. I wanted the space to really feel like my own.This small little table was something that was left behind, and it was the perfect new home for my desktop PC. All it was missing was a little refinishing, a fresh coat of paint. I still had some blue paint from when I refurbrished some olf furniture a couple years ago and felt like it was the perfect thing to use to have this table and the rest of my furniture match too. I'll make a blog post about that soon.I also, against my better judgement, put up some new LED light strips in the front room again, as well as the middle room this time. I missed having my LED lights in the space I used as my art studio and felt like some dim, coloured lighting could really help for a low sensory and aesthetic ambiance. My recent changes in medication were giving me a hard time with some balance issues, so maybe climbing the step ladder and furniture wasn't the greatest idea, but the results were worth it.

I've been really pleased with how everything is turning out though. It's been an adventure facing the year so far, but it's given me the opportunity to create my own space and build up a safe haven and studio that truly works with my creative energy instead of against it.Looking forward to seeing where things go from here,Lumi 𖹭
